Red-bellied woodpecker

I saw a red-bellied woodpecker in the tree behind my house.

He came to my feeder

and flew to the bushes and grabbed some berries!

I love woodpeckers! Do you ever have the little downy ones at your hummingbird feeder? I have this one that comes daily and gorges on the nectar. Surprised the heck out of me since I didn’t realize woodpeckers would do that.

Elaine,
I do get the downy woodpeckers at my feeder also. I even had a momma downy woodpecker feeding her baby at the feeder! I can’t wait to see more of your pictures with your great camera!
