Ferd and I recently stayed at the Grove Park Inn in Asheville, NC. We saw this Red-Tailed Hawk fly in the tree right over our heads as we were exploring the grounds!

This is precious!! In the mornings a little hawk stands out of the window of my bath, I die of fear even when I know that it cannot enter, and for sure is not as big as this one. Precious.
