Recently, Ferd and went to Charleston, South Carolina. We visited a couple of nearby plantations. My favorite is the Magnolia Plantation.

It has beautiful gardens.

I wanted to see an alligator while in SC . While walking through the gardens, an alligator walked across our path heading to the pond!

Cool!

My favorite part is the Audobon Swamp Garden. It has many trails and a boardwalk over the swamp. It a great bird habitat. 

I have never seem so many Great Egrets, Herons,  Anhingas, nests and babies!
