A feather for my thoughts…
Four weeks ago, Ferd and I went to Tanglewood Park and the Brown-headed Nuthatch was excavating it’s nest cavity. We went to Tanglewood today and it looks like the nest cavity is complete.
I went to Tanglewood Park with Ferd on January 28th and saw a Brown-headed Nuthatch excavating it’s nest hole. Today I went back with Eric and the Brown-headed Nuthatch was still excavating it’s nest hole. It has made some progress.
Great-blue Heron Golden-crowned Kinglet
There are seven nests with Great-blue Herons at Tanglewood Park. There were Herons in all the nests, some laying down.It was all heads up when two Bald Eagles flew over head!
First time at my bird feeder and back yard!
