While Ferd and I were in Savannah last week, we visited the Savannah Wildlife Preserve.

Ferd and I were in Toledo, Ohio recently visiting our Grandson and our families.
We did take a little time to visit our favorite park, Wildwood, to do a little birding. We did see a few interesting birds. My favorite was a couple of White-breasted Nuthatches. They came right up to us on the ground!
I went to Miller Park this morning just to see the Yellow-crowned Night-Heron and I found it!!
I went on a bird walk with the Audubon Society of Forsyth County bird group at Salem Lake this morning. It was a gorgeous day outside! We saw a lot of birds, including American goldfinch, Gold and Ruby-crowned Kinglet, downy woodpecker, Ruddy ducks, Pied-billed Grebe, Eastern Phoebe, Canadian Geese, House Finch, Titmouse, White-throated sparrow, Dark-eyed Juncos, Great Blue Heron and a Yellow-rumped Warbler!

While I was at Side Cut Park in Maumee, Ohio, I saw another really great bird, the great blue heron!
I was in Toledo, Ohio over the weekend visiting friends and family. I went to Side Cut Park with Ferd and my Mother and Father-in-law. I took some pictures of a northern flicker. I noticed in the pictures there was a second flicker there also!
