It is cold out and this wren was staying warm in the roosting pocket!
Angel was doing some birdwatching when a couple of deer came to the window.
They are so cute!
OMG! %$#*! There are eating my hawthorne holly bush! Not so cute anymore!
I tapped on the window and they all moved on to another yard.
We saw these wild turkeys in the middle of the road when we were driving down Gateway Mountain in Old Fort, NC!
With the weather cooling off, it has brought out a lot more finches!
Ferd and I recently went to Clearwater Beach, Florida for the Jazz Festival and to visit some friends. We stayed at the beautiful Sandpearl Resort. We saw several kinds of water birds. The most interesting bird was the pelican diving into the water and catching fish!
The Sandpearl Resort.
A view from out window!
This morning we had four red-shouldered hawks flying over our house and neighborhood! What an awesome bird!
While I was at Side Cut Park in Maumee, Ohio, I saw another really great bird, the great blue heron!
This is my cat, Angel. She is a birder! Here she is on the porch doing some bird watching.
Birdwatching at the window.
She is a little camera shy.
When she is not bird watching, she is napping. A lot of napping!
Or she is hanging out in a box!
Or hanging out in a bag!
Or playing with toys!
I was in Toledo, Ohio over the weekend visiting friends and family. I went to Side Cut Park with Ferd and my Mother and Father-in-law. I took some pictures of a northern flicker. I noticed in the pictures there was a second flicker there also!
